This November, from the 7th to the 16th, the biggest agricultural and equestrian event in the world, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, is coming back to Toronto. In this 10-day showcase, “The Royal” will feature an extensive program, with agricultural exhibits, culinary delicacies, horsemanship competitions, and family shows.
The 103rd iteration of The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will take place at the famous Exhibition Place (Enercare Centre and Coca-Cola Coliseum), and will delight us with The Royal Horse Show, rodeos, agricultural competitions, gourmet food from the Royal Culinary Academy, and much more.
The main sports event is the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Toronto, a world-class elite equestrian competition, which is a must-see for equestrian fans. The best Canadian equestrians will compete in a qualifier for the Longines FEI World Cup™. Other horse events will include the Mad Barn Indoor Eventing Challenge and Shetland Pony Races.
On the agricultural side of the fair, there will be a competition for the title of The Royal Champion. More than 5,000 livestock animals, such as sheep, goats, and cows, will be welcomed into the barns and will compete in various challenges. Visitors will be able to meet the farmers and breeders.
The Royal Food Competitions will also feature over 1,000 entries. All nine classic Royal competitions (Cheese & Butter, Ready-To-Eat Meats, Ice Cream, Jams & Jellies, Pickles, Honey, Maple, Hot Sauce, and Butter Tarts) will take place in late October, starting with Cheese & Butter on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Besides that, you’ll be able to experience The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair as a family-oriented event. The family fun begins at the Royal Petting Farm, where children and adults will be able to take a closer look at the animals. There will be many events in this category, such as the famous Global Pet Foods SuperDogs. Later, visitors will be able to enjoy the Royal Rodeo Finals as well as various educational features such as the Dairy Education Centre.
