For all fans of live music, we’re happy to announce that Oshawa Music Week is coming back April 7-11, 2026.
This is the 26th anniversary of the festival (originally founded in 2000 as the Reel Music Festival). Organized by Durham College Music Business Management (MBM) students, this year’s festival will feature over 30 performances on eight different stages, and will showcase diversity in genre, including country, rock, hip hop, punk, indie, and more.
The festival also serves as a platform for local voices. The “Songs Revealed” songwriting competition will take place Wednesday, April 8 at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, and will feature a competition among emerging local artists.
