Community Cleanup Week Oshawa

Community Cleanup Week Oshawa

This April, from Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24, you can take part in Community Cleanup Week, a community event created to clean up green spaces in the city.

It is an important event to maintain the beauty of the city. Registered participants will be provided free garbage bags and gloves (while supplies last). You can register here to participate or submit your own location to be cleaned.

Communities with Brooms will also return on Wednesday, April 22. Participants are invited to a free barbecue at MP Kirkland’s office at 57 Simcoe St. S.

For those who can’t participate but still want to get involved, join the Mayor’s Cleanup events on May 9 and June 20 in downtown Oshawa, and September 12 at the Second Marsh. Also, A Greener Future has cleaning events throughout April, such as Lakefront Park on April 14 and Lakeview Park on April 16. (https://www.agreenerfuture.ca/events-list)
