On May 2 at 2:00 PM, TEDxOshawa will take place at the Biltmore Theatre. This is a unique event where famous people from all sorts of fields, like science, tech, and art, share their experiences in short-form lectures. The TED program, in its history, has hosted speakers like Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Steve Wozniak, Amy Cuddy, Garry Kasparov, and more.
The theme for this year’s TEDxOshawa is “The Future Decoded,” a topic about navigating the complex modern world from different angles, explored by 16 speakers and performers. To name a few: David Lahey, President & CEO of Predictive Success Corporation and advisor to two NHL teams; Anne Hussain, a naturopathic doctor and the author of The Period Literacy Handbook; Joyce Perrin, a hospital CEO who is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at 64; and many more incredible people.
