Prism Property Management, is pleased to announce important news for Oshawa citizens and our residents. Preparations have begun for the construction of Bond Simcoe Urban Square, a public plaza right in the heart of the 80 Bond and 100 Bond neighborhood. Let’s take a look at how this news will affect the infrastructure and quality of life in the neighborhood.

Bond Simcoe Urban Square

Part of the Plan20Thirty downtown revitalization, Bond Simcoe Urban Square will be located between Bond Street, Simcoe Street and Ontario Street and will include a number of amenities, green spaces and walkways. The exciting news of additional landscaping is especially meaningful for residents and apartment owners, as it includes:

  • New amenities such as recreational areas, pedestrian spaces, green spaces and a public art piece.
  • Neighborhood attractiveness for investors.
  • Improvements to the infrastructure of the area, such as improved road surfaces and upgraded underground utilities.

How will it be done?

  • Phase 1 – Spring 2025: Site preparation, dismantling of outdated structures, paving, installation of lighting, landscaping, and urban fixtures.
  • Phase 2 – 2026: Installation of a large art piece, which will become a symbol of the renewed neighborhood.

Major renovation is expected to be finished by fall 2025. The City will also provide additional downtown parking options. You can see the details on the official portal.
