Canada Day 2025 in Oshawa’s Lakeview Park

Oshawa’s Canada Day 2025 will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 1 at Lakeview Park.

The celebration begins at 2 PM with various entertainment, including K9 Dog Show, Interactive Drumming, Sandqube Sand Sculptures (at the Beach Zone), many other shows, and a whole Family Zone that will run from 2 PM to 8 PM. There you can take part in the Mobile Art Bus and participate in other activities.

For action enthusiasts there will be Pro Wrestling Eclipse and the Invado Beach Volleyball tournament. To see the full schedule, visit

At 2:30 PM on the main stage, the Canada Day Drumming Celebration will begin. This is a synchronized event across many Canadian cities. For those who can’t visit in person there will be a YouTube Live Stream of Canada Day Drumming 2025 from all over Canada, including Oshawa.

At 10 PM celebration will conclude with a stunning fireworks show, presented by Tribute Communities, in Lakeview Park.

Shuttle Service

To simplify the process of transportation, there will be free shuttle bus service from Oshawa Centre to Lakeview Park, starting at 1 PM until 9:15 PM. After the fireworks show finishes, the shuttle will return to Oshawa Centre.

Parking

Public parking at Lakeview Park is not available unless the vehicle has a valid accessible parking permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
